Tasks & Responsibilities
Background:
The RLX Team is part of the DIA Standardization & Components Chapter, where we drive and support technical standardization across Diagnostics by providing reusable components to simplify the development of products, integrated technical solutions and consultancy services to our Diagnostics customer areas.
We are a team of Linux SW and HW Experts looking for enforcement providing expertise and support to various internal software projects. If you are passionate about GNU / Linux and look for interesting technologies and exciting challenges, do not hesitate to apply.
We are looking for somebody that can work autonomously and that can support multiple projects with a strong focus on continuous value delivery to our clients.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Assist Medical Instrument / Software Projects
• Development of in-house tools (Python, C/C++, Web-Technologies)
• Development and maintenance of in-house / open source tools
• Linux/Hardware troubleshooting, debugging and root-cause analysis
Must Haves
• Min. Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Proven experience (hands-on) with Linux systems (Debian/Ubuntu), GNU/Linux Enthusiast
• Min. 3-5 years experience in development with C/C++, Python, Go, Web technologies, Shell Scripting
• Strong knowledge in Software building, testing, Debian packaging (debhelper)
• English fluent (spoken and written)
• Team player with a “can do” attitude, quick learner, enjoying problem solving, ability to work independently
Nice to Haves
• Min. 3-5 years of work experience as a Software and/or Hardware Engineer, preferred in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in Embedded Software, Hardware Drivers, ARM Platform, hardware / software integration is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker can be a plus
• Experience in Virtualization / Container technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines is a plus
• German is an advantage
