For our customer located in Basel/Switzerland we are currently looking for two: SAP MM Consultant (m/f/d)
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand their business requirements and design and implement solutions that meet those requirements
- Participate in requirements gathering discussions with client. Clearly document the business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis.
- Translate business requirements into appropriate functional solutions while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution
- Configure the SAP MM module to meet client requirements
- Document functional specifications based on business requirements.
- Develop and execute proof of concepts to demonstrate feasibility of proposed solutions
- Identify, document and perform functional testing to ensure completeness and accuracy of the solution
- Provide training to end users on how to use the module
- Provide ongoing support to clients for the SAP MM module, including: Troubleshooting issues, Providing guidance on best practices, Implementing fixes and enhancements
- Work with other SAP consultants to ensure that the SAP MM module is integrated with other SAP modules, such as FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling)
- Create documentation for the SAP MM module, including user manuals, process flows, and system configurations
- Continually review the SAP MM module and identify areas for improvement
- Work with clients to implement changes that improve their business processes
Must Haves
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a full cycle implementation (with at least 2 full cycle S4 HANA implementations)
- Minimum of 8 years designing and configuring MM modules .
- Strong understanding of the S4 HANA SAP MM module and the ability to configure it according to business requirements
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including creating purchase requisitions, purchase orders, good receipts.
- Strong knowledge of procurement master data and how they are functioning.
- Good understanding of inventory management processes, such as stock transfers, physical inventory management, and the management of consignment and vendor-managed inventory
- Previous experience with Pharma industry is an asset
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
Nice to Haves
- Familiarity with integration between S4 HANA outline agreements, purchase info records and Ariba Product Sourcing.
- Familiarity with the PO integration of S4 HANA and Ariba supplier business network Familiarity with integration of S4 HANA and Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration
