Background

For our Swiss customer located in Basel we are currently looking for (m/f) a Professional Project Coordinator (ERP)

•    Type of placement:  15 months, external contract with possible long term extension
•    Company:  major Pharma company in Basel area
•    Salary:  level 2, please ask us for the exact rate range 
(monthly all in salary levels in CHF,  level1= 5-10k , level2=10-15k,  level3= >15k)

The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the Supply Chain Clinical project team who - under the direction of a Project Manager - is responsible for building and executing a comprehensive project plan, managing its timeline and deadlines, communicating effectively with staff members, and eventually managing the budget. He/she assists the project manager in completing all the tasks necessary to keep a project on track like coordination of day-to-day activities, resources, equipment so that the project team members stay organized and focused on the project and goals at hand. His/her mission is to support the successful delivery of the Project through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting. This project drives the harmonization of business processes. It does not implement any IT solution. 

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Assists in driving various complex projects under direct supervision of project and program manager(s) 
  • Supports the development of project status reports 
  • Develops and maintains project document repositories, including team charter, contact lists and distribution lists (calendar and e-mail), agendas, minutes, RAID&C log (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Change Log), milestones and deliverables 
  • Ensures project calendars are current and appropriately available/distributed 
  • Works with department administrative staff to organize meetings and workshops 
  • Documents and follows up on action item status to ensure timely completion 
  • Drafts presentations for project status reviews 
  • Plans, coordinates and monitors activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems 
  • Reflects changes in work scope, time lines or deliverables in the project plan 
  • Takes appropriate planning measures with all Work Stream Leads to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets 
Requirements: 

Must Haves

  • Experience as project coordinator and/or project manager: 5-7 years in one function
  • Certificate from a technical or business institute (e.g. Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Applied Psychology, Supply Chain / Logistics) or other recognized professional qualification
  • Communication: frequent contacts with average difficulty
  • Self-Reliance: sets some of his/her own goals and tasks after discussions with superior
  • Complexity Management: diverse range of task to solve more challenging problems
  • People Management: up to 10 project team members under his/her supervision & guidance
  • Resource Management: Very small expenditures and/or performance of very small operations (? CHF 40'000)
  • Result Orientation: Moderate effects on several departments or interests
  • Languages: Fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in English
  • Mobility: Ability to travel up to 20%

 

Nice to Haves

  • +++ Former Roche experience (ideally having worked together with one or more business functions and IT in the past)
  • +++ Any experience in Clinical Supply Chain processes
  • +++ Experience in OE (process mapping etc.)
  • +++ Pharma Knowledge
  • +++ German will be considered as an asset
  • ++ PMI CAPM certification or equivalent
