Background

For our Swiss customer located in Basel we are currently looking for (m/f) an Manager - Service / Operations Manager - Level II

•    Type of placement:  4 months, external contract with possible long term extension
•    Company:  major Pharma company in Basel area
•    Salary:  level 2, please ask us for the exact rate range 
(monthly all in salary levels in CHF,  level1= 5-10k , level2=10-15k,  level3= >15k)

 

Role Purpose

Provide operational management for respective function and support the function leads as well as the managers on the operational topics day to day. Support and plan key initiatives for the function.

 

Major Accountabilities

  • Responsible for operational management for assigned function or unit
  • Drive service excellence and continuous improvement within the framework defined by IT Operations
  • Support the function’s managers and experts to focus on the overall priorities for the business, to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Support definition of the NBS IT strategy for the function’s relevant scope and be accountable for ensuring the strategy is tracked, benchmarked and updated for the area owned
  • Proactively identify opportunities to increase service levels and mitigate any issues in service delivery within the function or across functions
  • Prepare function meetings and coordinate function initiatives and events
  • Point of escalation in function for support functions Finance and Procurement
  • Take accountability for overall productivity efforts within the function, including coordination of function specific tasks and close collaboration with Finance
  • Coordinate and monitor IT process implementation within the function
  • Take accountability for function's internal communications and related change management
  • Support information governance activities within the function
  • Support Audit preparation – act as a function SPOC for IT audits in local sites (incl. preparation, interface to local organization, mitigation of findings etc.) and work closely with ISRM
  • Coordinate overall objective setting preparation and facilitate process in order to achieve consistent objective setting in function
  • Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Excellence scope

 

Work Location: Basel WSJ
Workload: 100% (reduction possible after training, e.g. 3 days onsite, 2 days offsite)

Requirements: 

Skills/Requirements

  • minimum Bachelor degree (e.g. informatics,..)
  • MUST: high proficiency in English, other languages would be an asset
  • MUST: analytical skills
  • deep Knowledge in several data Reporting Tools
  • proficiency in Excel and other office Tools
  • ability to work indepently and provide feedback proactively
  • experience to work in a support function
  • experience as an internal function
  • ability to help team members and to work in a team with different tasks
