Background:  

For our Swiss customer located in Basel we are currently looking for (m/f) an Professional Desktop Support Analyst (Infrastructure)

  • Type of placement:  4 months, external contract with possible long term extension
  • Company:  major Pharma company in Basel area
  • Salary:  level 2, please ask us for the exact rate range 

(monthly all in salary levels in CHF,  level1= 5-10k , level2=10-15k,  level3= >15k)
 

General information:

  • Extension: An extension is currently not planned. 
  • Work load: 100% 
  • Work location: Basel, Building 1 (and some travel to Kaiseraugst required for the roll-out) 
  • Remote: Not possible, 100% onsite required. 
  • Travel: Not required. 
  • Department: FPES (Pharma Informatics, User Services Basel) 

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Install Windows 10 computers using standard images 
  • Scheduling and appointments with customers to exchange Windows 7 with Windows 10 computers 
  • Data- & configuration backup at the customer's site 
  • Deployment of Windows 10 computers with subsequent data- configuration restore 
  • Assignment of required software via SCCM 
  • If required, manual installation of software according to installation instructions 
  • Brief instruction for customers, support with simple software and hardware problems 
  • Working with the given Ticket Tool HP Service Manager / Service Now and company-owned Asset Management Tools 
  • Cooperation in continuous improvements 
  • Participation in status meetings 
  • Interviews are planned in the week from 05.10.2018 in Basel (face-to-face preferred). 

 

Requirements: 

Must Haves: 

  • +5 years of working experience in similar environments 
  • Good trained in IT support, completed an IT apprenticeship 
  • Computer support knowledge and roll-out experience (minimum 1 year of experience) 
  • Customer friendliness and good communication skills in English and German 
  • Sophisticated appearance 
  • Teamwork skills 
  • German (proficient level) 
  • English (advanced level) 

 

Nice to Haves: 

  • +++ French 
  • ++ Any Microsoft or Windows 10 certificates 
  • + Any experience with project coordination
