Background

ITOM Program in NBS IT is offering a Service/Operations Manager role for supporting its PMO in the areas of PMO Planning and Execution support. 
 

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Ensure planning and execution support across the program 

  • Manage of Program/Team Plans by keeping team plans up-to-date in coordination with Team Leads and PMO Head 

  • Track execution of the project plans 

  • Track completion of Milestones according to process 

  • Manage Risks, Issues, Changes and Actions: ensure all up to date in SharePoint and process adhered to 

  • Highlight or escalate to PMO Head high risks and issues, past due items, etc. 

  • Collaborate in planning activities for next phases 

  • Prepare for Weekly Team meeting 

  • Collect Team Status and topics to be discussed weekly 

  • Support for PMO workshops and SteerCo meetings 

  • Organize workshops logistics, invites, etc. 

  • Compile content from different owners 

  • Produce content on PMO items (project status, risks/issues/changes/actions 

  • Other Ad-Hoc Activities 

  • Support on PMO process documentation 

  • Onboarding of resources 

  • Training management activities 

  • Maintenance of the project repository 

 

Assignment period is until 31-Dec-2017 on 100% base. 

Requirements: 

 

  • Excellent English skills– oral and written 
  • German desirable 
  • Several years of experience in supporting PMO Planning and Execution activities 
  • Team work in a challenging IT environment 
  • Ability to work in an international as well as multicultural environment 
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Flexibility and experience in prioritizing tasks 
  • Ability to deal with variable workload
