The Swiss Universal Bank (SUB) Operations is planning to substantially reduce the cost basis in SUB Operations and to significantly contribute to the SUB IPO preparation by:

  • Providing an environment to realize agreed Operations Business Lines savings through Digitalization measures (as part of the Operations overall savings)
  • Implement Digitalization TIM Target State: Provide all necessary infrastructural components needed by F2B Digitalization Operations Initiative
  • Digitalize processes: Migrate Business Line processes in scope into Digitalization infrastructure and ensure operational readiness in Business Line departments
  • Prepare and execute Scanning Business Process Outsourcing – which is not scope of this RfP

The program is planning to digitize 100+ Operations processes and build out the fully ODCC[1] layer within the years 2016, 2017 and 2018 and implement the future Front to Back Digital Operating Model:

The program is right now in its mobilization phase and will enter the execution phase beginning of July 2016. The focus of the mobilization phase is to set up the following program parts:

  • Program organization incl. definition of roles & responsibilities, meeting & reporting structure
  • Controls focusing on program steering and aligning with other initiatives
  • Program governance by defining stream mandates and project charters
  • Develop and implement a program high level masterplan
  • Scoping for the 2016 pilot projects and the 2016 book of work
  • Financials management and internal tracking tool set up
  • Staffing on business and IT side
  • Define delivery methodology based on an agile approach

By July 1st the program enters its execution phase and will start delivering the following:

2016 delivery

  • First releases of the [2]ODCC base technology layer and its components
  • 5 - 7 pilot processes bound to go live in November 2016
  • Sign the contract with Scanning 3rd Party to enable early scanning as part of our digitalization scope

2016 book of work

  • Initiate the delivery of the first set of processes bound to go live in Q1/2017
  • Refine and optimize program set up and delivery model
  • Implement a 12 – 18 months forward looking planning and tracking model with the highest possible rate of plan and delivery accuracy and transparency towards the entire SUB staff and management teams
  • Team ramp up on business and IT side to deliver the program scope in a time boxed window between July 2016 and December 2018 (see picture below)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing end to end requirements from IT perspective
  • Coordinate & Conduct business workshops in cooperation with the BA to elicit requirements followed by in-depth analysis and translation to system level artifacts
  • Serve as the liaison between Business & IT – also between IT & QA
  • Facilitate business buy-in through periodic application walkthroughs or show & tell sessions
  • Coordinate tasks across fellow BAs to ensure faster turnaround and better quality of deliverables
  • Engage in new engagements to ensure that existing functionality is leveraged to an optimal extent
  • Raise business awareness across the team through focused KT sessions

A team of 7 – 10 Technical Requirements Engineers translating business requirements into technical requirements. Start as soon as possible. Duration: 12 months +

Requirements: 
  • Experience in a similar role as Business Architect and Business Analyst, preferably as a consultant within large institutions
  • Excellent knowledge of one or more of the following sectors: Banking, Financial Services, Insurance or Utilities
  • Excellent knowledge with process design and BPMN 2.0
  • Strong skills in the analysis and specification of Business Rule-, Screen- and Interface Requirements
  • Experience in one or more of the leading BPM products like Pega, Oracle BPM or others
  • Used to work in an international and multicultural setting
  • Good communication skills in English and German
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
