For our customer located in Basel/Switzerland we are currently looking for a: Customer Operation Manager (m/f/x)

  • Location: remote but occasionally has to travel to Basel-Ivrea.
  • It’s necessary that the consultant has his/her own registered business that enables him/her to invoice us the worked hours. When the consultant is based in Switzerland it’s also possible to get employed (swiss payroll)

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Executing a unique healthcare professional, patient, and caregiver Customer Service Center for life science services in Region Europe, managing both commercial and clinical cases.
  • Supporting assigned hospital accounts across Europe in the order management process with coordination of the required logistics, delivering exceptional customer services.
  • Working cross-functionally with country teams, operations, supply chain, manufacturing sites, quality assurance, legal, regulatory, commercial, and medical teams to ensure that the Customer Service Center meets the needs of our customers (both external and internal).
  • Monitoring and maintaining correct system transactions related to order management processes based on planning & master data parameters, including the up-to-date status of the order at any point in time.
  • Preparing and ensuring availability of all relevant documentation and approvals needed to guarantee steady product flow.
  • Collaborating with manufacturing plants, quality, supply chain, and third-party logistics to enhance customer experience and proactively identify process improvements and innovative solutions.
  • Participating actively in cross-functional initiatives aiming for constant process and performance improvement.
  • Supporting and implementing new setups according to business needs (e.g., distribution switches). Managing coverage of assigned accounts proactively when unavailable and provide team coverage as necessary.
