For our customer located in Basel Kaiseraugst/Switzerland we are currently looking for aInformation Architect (m/f/x)

 

 

  • remote: possible (only nearshore candidates with own registered company that enables you to invoice us the worked hours)
  • onshore / CH based candidates need to be on our swiss payroll

 

Background:

 

The Pharma Technical Operations (PT) business function is going through profound transformation and driving towards truly end-to-end processes and efficiency across all elements of the PT value chain. The PT Informatics organization wants to strengthen its capabilities to support solutions that will be operating in a highly regulated, fully compliant and secure enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will deliver for Pharma Technical Operations Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) the following deliverables.

 

The perfect candidate:

 

The successful candidate has senior experience in defining data used/created, data standards, information model, information flows for manufacturing and supply chain, where possible within Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT). The background should be as Solution or Information Architect.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Identifying areas for improvement in terms of information flows and structure, automation, information representation and advising project teams in best practice and implementation
  • Recognizing and resolving conflicts between models, ensuring that information and data models are consistent with the enterprise model (e.g., entity names, relationships and definitions)
  • Reviewing and approving information and data model designs with a focus on those areas influencing interoperability, analytics including compliance with the enterprise information model
  • Ensuring integration of project logical data models into the enterprise information model
  • Maintaining repositories for representing the data elements including the entities, relationships and attributes, the information flows, business glossary
  • Participating in the development of a usable information architecture, which will include a data model and a common business vocabulary, which will then be used to guide solution development and achieve consistency of information assets across the application portfolio

Must Haves

  • Min Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineer or similar
  • Min. 5-7 years of experience as (Solution) Architect, preferred in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge in enterprise information solutions, such as master data management, metadata management, business intelligence, data interoperability, analytics, data integration
  • Experience in defining data used/created, data standards, information models, information flows for manufacturing and supply chain, where possible within Cell and Gene Therapy
  • Experience in Agile (e.g. Scrum or SAFe)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Exhibits strong soft skills typically required as an architect (i.e.: presentation and public speaking, negotiation, challenging the status quo)
  • Drive the increase in maturity and knowledge of information related topics across the organization through education and mentoring
  • Encourages a data citizenship mindset ensuring we all collectively take responsibility and accountability for the data we create, consume, manage and share
