For our customer located in Basel/Switzerland we are currently looking for a: Prototype Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks & Responsibilities
Design, optimization, fabrication, and assembly of prototype devices supporting formative human factors studies within the VAY736 project.
Development of prototype solutions through enhancement of existing device concepts and cre-ation of new prototype devices based on defined project requirements.
Execution of prototype design activities, including CAD-based design modifications, technical drawings, and engineering updates required to support prototype development and evaluation.
Manufacturing and fabrication of prototype components using appropriate methods, including 3D printing, machining, milling, and custom part fabrication.
Mechanical assembly, testing, refinement, and iterative prototyping of devices to ensure align-ment with human factors study objectives and user requirements.
Preparation and delivery of functional prototype devices and associated design documentation for evaluation and study activities.
Collaboration with project scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate technical concepts and study requirements into functional prototype solutions.
Must Haves
Demonstrated experience in prototype development, fabrication, and assembly.
Proficiency with CAD design tools and prototype manufacturing techniques.
Experience with machining, milling, mechanical assembly, and rapid prototyping methodologies.
Language: german and english spoken and written, working hours European middle time (e.g. 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
100% Onsite required on Basel Campus
