For our customer located in Neuchatel/Switzerland we are currently looking for a: Quality Control Analyst (m/f/d)
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Controlling, aliquoting, identifying, recording, distributing, storing or destroying samples, in compliance with current operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Comply with good reception, processing and distribution practices defined in procedures/protocols .
- Record, document and communicate to the relevant departments any deviations observed during sample reception .
- Receive and complete the attributes specific to each sample in the appropriate system (if applicable) within the defined deadlines.
- Receive and record backup samples in the appropriate system.
- Register backup sample transfers in the appropriate listed equipment.
- Carry out backup releases as requested by laboratories via the appropriate system.
- Destroy backup samples via the appropriate system.
- Send samples to external sites or regulatory authorities according to defined schedules and procedures.
- Prepare cryotubes for sampling in production areas when applicable.
- Participate in the execution of validation protocols and stability studies for which you are responsible for the samples from their receipt to their availability for analysis, or to their stabilization and destruction when applicable.
- Participate in the stock management of consumables and reagents used in the laboratories, ensuring that items are ordered and restocked within the defined deadlines.

- Ensure regular maintenance and calibration of equipment used, check temperature alarms in accordance with procedures in force, as well as the correct completion and review of log-books.
- Support QC teams in non-testing tasks (preparation of solutions for analysis, freezer transfer, autoclaving, etc.).
- All employees are required to respect and apply EHS rules. If he or she observes deviations from these rules by colleagues or external parties, he or she also plays an active role in reminding those concerned of the application of EHS rules.
- EMS of a program or activity in its own right (may also present and/or defend topics during audits, gemba-walk, etc.).

Piquet and Shift Information:
- Variable schedule: no fixed hours, can come 6am and 9am, lunch break of 30 min or 1h between 11am and 2pm, and can leave between 4pm and 8pm in the evening. So it’s flexible. They do their 40h on these time slots from Monday to Friday + 1 weekend per month to work an extra 25% and/or 50% on Saturday and Sunday. They’ll also have 4 days off (not necessarily consecutive) out of 14 working days. This weekend is in addition to picket duty.
- Meal expenses are not included.
- On call: 1 week per month. They are called by phone and have to come on the WE or outside lab hours.
