Tasks & Responsibilities
Application Packaging & Engineering
End-to-end custom application packaging and virtualization using MSI, MSIX and Silent Installation techniques.
Standardizing and customizing software installers for quiet, automated deployment across enterprise environments.
Troubleshooting complex packaging and deployment failures (e.g., DLL conflicts, registry issues, driver integration).
Deployment & Modern Management (SCCM & Intune)
Administering and configuring Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM / MECM) and Microsoft Intune.
Creating, testing, and deploying Application Packages and Software Updates
Managing co-management scenarios (transitioning or operating hybrid environments between SCCM and Intune / Microsoft 365 Defender).
Automation & Scripting
Writing advanced PowerShell scripts and PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT) wrappers to automate packaging workflows and post-installation configurations.
Integrating custom automation scripts into modern deployment pipelines.
Enterprise Environment & Software Lifecycle
Assessing software dependencies, security compliance, and licensing constraints prior to deployment.
Collaborating with global IT Infrastructure, Security, and Desktop Engineering teams to define enterprise deployment standards.
Conducting pre-deployment testing (UAT) and rollback planning for mission-critical software rollouts.
Must Haves
SCCM / MECM & Intune: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise endpoint management and software distribution.
Packaging Formats: Proven expertise in MSI, MST transforms and MSIX.
Scripting: Advanced proficiency in PowerShell (experience with PSAppDeployToolkit is a major plus).
Software Development Context: Strong understanding of general software architecture, system dependencies, registry modifications, and operating system inner workings (Windows 10 / 11 / Windows Server).
Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken) – comfortable working in international teams and directly with enterprise stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve complex packaging and installation issues.
Structured Working Style: Ability to document processes, packaging guidelines, and deployment procedures clearly.
