For our customer located in Basel/Switzerland we are currently looking for a: Test Manager (m/f/x) – (IT) – BS

The perfect candidate:
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager with proven experience and expertise in managing testing activities for complex IT solutions to ensure quality and user acceptance. The role requires a very structured way of working combined with a passion for quality and user acceptance. The coordination with the teams and stakeholders also benefits from high coordination and communication skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Development and implementation of test strategy and concepts within the project
  • Test scheduling and coordination within the project teams and the user communities
  • Coordination and support of test activities within the project team (ux test, integration test, unit test, user acceptance test, etc.)
  • Definition, planning, organization and execution of User Acceptance Tests on-site
  • Coordination and collection of feedback from user acceptance testing
  • Reporting, monitoring and tracking of defects
  • Quality assurance of the product increments
  • Provide guidance and support for product owners in creating UAT test script

Must Haves

  • Min. 5+ years of experience in managing testing activities in large and complex IT projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical environment 
  • Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art test methodologies and concepts 
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress) 
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD platforms (e.g. Gitlab) 
  • Basic knowledge of state-of-the-art IT infrastructure concepts and edge IT technologies (e.g. IoT, etc.)
  • High passion for quality and user acceptance
  • German and English fluency in spoken and written
  • Strong coordination skills with multiple and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong communication and leadership skills in an diverse, international and multicultural environment
  • Proactive team player who is able to prove flexibility
  • Structured and self-organized way of working
  • Positive Can do attitude
  • Self-empowered and flexible Mindset
  • Experience in e2e solution testing, incl. hardware, software and surrounding IT systems
  • Familiarity with testing in Agile product development
