If you are EU resident and you have a project with a duration of more than 90 workings, you have to be employed.

If you have your own consulting company you just invoice us your worked hours while you are in charge of your social costs – like usual.

If you are not from Switzerland, you are allowed to work as contractor:
onsite = 90 days notification procedure (“Meldeverfahren”)
remote = no limited
