Description:/Background:
Product OCEAN will serve as the next generation Analytics and Data Platform for delivering studies for PD Data Sciences. OCEAN as a product will provide the following capabilities to our Data Scientists:
A consistent and common user interface to perform all regulatory and exploratory work
The ability to access clinical data, and access, and store artifacts, outputs and metadata generated from performing regulatory and exploratory activities
The ability to manage code a singular way via GitLab
Task and job automation to enable production runs
The ability to use SAS and R as development environments for regulatory and exploratory work, and the ability to use other programming languages for exploratory work (Python, Julia, others in the future).
The ideal candidate is a person who:
– knows IT testing practices, methodologies, standards,
– is experienced in requirements/acceptance criteria analysis,
– is experienced in manual testing in highly regulated environment,
– is interested in development towards test automation,
– is oriented on overall quality delivering, not separating to subordinated area

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design, creation and execution of manual software tests on the entrusted area,
- Participate actively in functional, system, integration, regression, and API testing activities
- Participate in Test planning, estimating of test efforts,
- Work closely with project team/stakeholders, and other test team members and will proactively work to resolve any issues
- Defects reporting and Risk escalation
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Join scrum ceremonies and other project calls
Must Haves
- Min. Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering or related field
- Min. 5 years experience in Software Testing, preferred in the pharmaceutical industry, at least in highly regulated industry
- Hands on experience in UI and API / web services testing, database testing and integration testing
- Knowledge of testing principles, test techniques, and test methodologies
- Good knowledge of testing aspects, test data generation and management, reporting, test environment management
- Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM
- Very good English (spoken and written)
- Attention to details, strong organizational skills with technical background
Nice to Haves
- Experience with running a validated project would be an asset
- ETL/Big Data background
- Experience with Codebeamer (Retina4IT)
- ISTQB foundation level certificate
