For our customer located in Nearshore we are currently looking for a: Technical Consultant/SAP NetWeaver ABAP, J2EE (m/f/x)
Tasks & Responsibilities
As IT Technical Consultant you will be responsible for the:
Delivery of SAP NetWeaver ABAP, J2EE by providing technical expertise and support as Solution Owner
Planning, setup, implementation and basis operation of SAP technologies
Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for your landscape/s in scope Roll out of gained basis technology Know-How to team members Coordination and close collaboration with international team members in global projects
Optional:
Development of concepts, scripts and tools to solve and prevent problems in an automated way, e.g. on OS level
Experience Level – Cloud Infrastructure
E3 – Senior Consultant (Minimum IT Experience 3-6 Years.)
Scope of Services / Deliverables
Our client requires the assistance of an experienced Basis consultant with excellent co-ordinational skills to support operations of a J2EE landscape currently in transformation within internal business systems.
The focus is clearly to operate J2EE landscapes
Must Haves
Work Experience:
– strong experience as Technical SAP NetWeaver Consultant (ABAP and Java basis administration)
– SAP NetWeaver Basis Consultant certification highly beneficial
– Working knowledge in at least one database platform (ideally ASE, MS SQL and HANA) on Linux and Windows
– Strong Working knowledge on Windows and UNIX OS platform mandatory
– Project member or lead experience in an international environment
– Experience with virtualization technologies on Infrastructure level on Azure
Skills
- You are able to work effectively in a de-central team and are ambitious to independently gain basis operations know-how
- Familiar with technical basics of:
– MS SQL, SAP ASE and SAP HANA DB,
– technical monitoring of SAP NetWeaver with SAP Solution Manager,
– J2EE Server Log File Analysis experience - Basic understanding of SAP System Memory Management
- Strong capabilities in the area of technical documentation
- Beneficial: Knowledge in one or more Cluster Technologies (e.g. Linux Pacemaker or MSCS)
- Solid Know-How on network topologies, load balancing, firewall and DNS configuration
- You are able to think analytically, you are a good communicator and are skilled at dealing with customers
- You like to work in international and virtual teams, communicating in English is no problem for you
