For our customer located in Basel/Switzerland we are currently looking for (m/f) a Developer - General - Level II

  • Type of placement:  6 months, external contract with possible long term extension
  • Company:  major Pharma company in Basel/St. Johann
  • Salary:  level 3, please ask us for the exact rate range 

(monthly all in salary levels in CHF,  level1= 5-10k , level2=10-15k,  level3= >15k)


Business Purpose

Galileo program in NBS IT is seeking a mid-level experienced ServiceNow Developer (on-shore) for actively participating in the software development lifecycle of the enterprise wide implementation of ServiceNow. It will be including design, development and implementation of ServiceNow Service Catalog and Catalog Items. In leveraging best practices and procedures the successful candidate will develop and analyze functional requirements, identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to business requirements. The engagement further requires hands-on working experience in a GxP basing environment along with a proper understanding of mandatory documentation and regulations to adhere to (i.e. transport of update sets through the different ServiceNow environments, application of IQs, OQs, PQs, execution of test scripts).


Role Description

  • Drive the delivery effort with focus on the Service Catalog and account for milestone targets according to the project plan
  • Take ownership and responsibility for development and implementation activities
  • Adhere to ServiceNow development standards
  • Ensure consideration of multitenant security concepts and governance
  • Analyze and verify design, development and implementation for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility and conformity to standards
  • Participate in efforts to improve, optimize or revise existing processes or policies
  • Analyze and solve problems and incidents
  • Support testing, qualification, documentation, training and continuous enhancement
  • Support workflow and collaboration between various teams

Working Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in ServiceNow development with focus on Service Catalog and Catalog Item Development
  • Successful contribution in project cycle in delivering good practice design and development for solutions of enterprise scale
  • Experience of taking ownership for delivery effort with minimal management support
  • Hands-on working experience in GxP basing environment and multitenant security concepts
  • Working business knowledge within development teams
  • Service Management IT industry knowledge, ITIL aware
  • Educated to a minimum of higher national diploma level
